Oh How the Time Flies

Friday: Drove to Philly, stayed up till 3 getting to know Shaughn's girlfriend.
Saturday: Played pool until the wee hours of the morn, getting to know Shaughn's girlfriend some more.
Sunday: Drove home from Philly, extolled on the virtues of PennRen, watched the Red Sox, argued with family.
Monday: Watched Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, and s'more Red Sox.
Tuesday: I seem to have blocked the memory of this day altogether.
Wednesday: SFS meeting, Monkey TV.
Thursday: Went into Brookline to charge the battery on my sister's car. Think I killed a man. More later.
Tonight: Dear God, where is that thing I call a bed?

I haven't gotten a full night's sleep in a week. I was such a zombie, I forgot to submit attendance this morning, and was barely able to function in my last class. Still, I had to hang around the building for 45 minutes after school let out to talk to one of the Guidance Counselors about a student.

Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever be able to have anything resembling a social life on a school night. The only way I'd be able to RPG is with the UPS crowd if they choose to get up in the early afternoon and game before work. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever be able to put some effort into the Vampire Game or NaNoWriMo. But sometimes I hear that things are going well for a student, and I can see her face light up in the hallway, and I recall the giddy glee with which we discussed cartoons and NaNoWriMo, and I know I've at least accomplished *something*.

PS - Is anyone interested in preordering some Vampire: The Requiem Pins? It's cheaper to preorder a set of 20 than 10 individual ones - due to shipping idiosyncracies - and I don't know if I'll want *2* of each pin.
